The goal of perimeter pest management is to stop pests outside before they enter a structure. Fall is an ideal time to stop pests in their tracks, especially as they seek to overwinter in customers' homes and businesses. In addition to the traditional perimeter pests such as ants, cockroaches and spiders, autumn brings a multitude of other seasonal pests such as crickets, boxelder bugs, cluster flies and multi-colored Asian lady beetles—which may place a higher demand on a pest management professional's services.
The Bayer arsenal of perimeter pest solutions creates an effective barrier that controls these fall invaders for the long-term. You can use Bayer's perimeter pest solutions to tailor a program that will work best for the needs of your customer:
- Tempo® SC Ultra: With new Beta-crystal™ technology, this residual spray provides quick knockdown of more than 100 pests. In fact, it offers 14 times more coverage than microencapsulated products. Due to a special manufacturing process, the result is different size crystals, which offer an ideal combination for fast control and long residual protection.
- Suspend® SC: This residual spray application contains DeltaGard® brand Deltamethrin, which is a single pure isomer, so each and every molecule of active ingredient is available for maximum killing power. As a suspension concentrate (SC), Suspend is not easily absorbed into porous surfaces, making it ideal for usage around structures, whether it's wood, mulch, concrete, siding or vegetation.
- DeltaGard® G: This granular formulation, with Deltamethrin, is easily applied and provides good penetration and control of crawling pests through leaf litter and thick vegetation.
- DeltaDust®: This dust formulation may be applied in exterior voids to provide long residual. It is 100 percent waterproof, making it the best choice for damp or wet areas.
- Drione®: This dust is a silica-based desiccant dust, fortified with natural pyrethrum and piperonyl butoxide, which provides quick knockdown and excellent flushing action for a wide range of perimeter pests.
- Tempo 1% Dust: This well-rounded dust provides long residual against a wide variety of perimeter pests, including bees and wasps.
